The Wine & Cheese Tasting Lecture Theatre 2009
The 2009 Bristol Wine & Food Fair saw some of the most well-known and respected wine journalists and writers in the world hosting our wine tastings.
Our wine lectures provided them with the opportunity to share their wealth of knowledge and experience with wine and to inspire, entertain and enliven their chosen subjects. By the end of the Tasting Lectures, visitors had learnt how to make better, more informed choices about buying wine.
The UK boasts some fantastic artisan cheeses and our programme of tutored cheese tastings gave producers the opportunity to celebrate their excellence and to feel proud about our food heritage. All cheeses tasted were available to purchase on-site, in most cases direct from the producer.
Each seated tutored tasting involved sampling 6 wine and 7 cheeses over the course of 40 minutes. They were about learning through enjoyment, enabling you to understand the range and diversity of the wines and cheeses available today.
Demand for tasting places was high and visitors were advised to book before the event to avoid disappointment, due to the limited number of available tickets per tasting.
Tickets for the 2010 event will be available from 1st April 2010.
